Her tips and techniques from how to assimilate into a new home to what's the best diet, are sure to help dogs of all kinds live longer, happier, healthier and well-behaved lives.

"The family's first year with a new puppy or dog is full of new and exciting experiences, but can be a challenge for pet parents who aren't well prepared, even if they do live in the White House," says celebrity pet expert, Andrea Arden. "It's important to understand the development process of puppies and assimilation techniques for adopted pets. The best way to ensure success is to establish good routines, like making exercise a part of a puppy's daily routine and teaching them good manners. Nutrition is important, too. I recommend Wellness Natural Pet Food, as I feed it to my own dogs."
